Publication Fees

This journal charges authors publication fees for the following services.

The standard Article Processing Charge (APC) is 700 USD per article accepted for publication.

A discounted APC of 420 USD may be granted exclusively at the discretion of the Editorial Board for manuscripts that required substantial revision and successfully passed at least two full rounds of peer review.

The application of a discounted APC is not based on authors’ institutional affiliation, country of origin, or ability to pay and cannot be requested by authors prior to the final editorial decision.
The number of articles eligible for the discounted APC is limited to no more than 10% of the total number of manuscripts accepted for publication in each issue.

Publication fee for Ukrainian authors: 8,000.00 UAH.

This policy has been introduced to ensure the long-term sustainability of editorial services, compliance with publication ethics standards, and the continued development of the journal within the international academic community.

The APC covers costs associated with editorial handling of manuscripts, copyediting, typesetting, publication of the current issue, registration of digital object identifiers (annual and per-item Crossref fees), web hosting and archiving, support of the open access policy, annual subscription fees for specialized software, as well as overhead costs related to the operation of the journal’s editorial office.

If a manuscript is accepted for publication, the author(s) are required to pay the APC to compensate for publication-related expenses. The publication fee is non-refundable.

APC Waivers

The Editorial Board may grant an APC waiver to authors who demonstrably lack the ability to pay. Waiver requests are considered only after the manuscript has successfully passed editorial screening and peer review.

Decisions are made based on the financial capacity of the entire author team, not solely the corresponding author. Single-author submissions by doctoral candidates or early-career researchers without grant or institutional funding may be considered for a waiver. For multi-author manuscripts, APC waivers are generally not granted, as the author team is assumed to have greater collective financial capacity.

Authors must provide a brief justification for the absence of funding. The final decision rests with the Editorial Board.
